Liam Austin Blaylock

Oh what a couple of days I've had.  Mostly because our family has anxiously been awaiting the birth of my brother's 1st baby.  The 1st grandchild, which means my 1st nephew.  That's right, I'm a first time aunt.  Oh talk about stressed out.  Kenzie started labor around Tuesday, January 26th around noon and didn't have Liam until 9:10 p.m. Wednesday night.  A lot of prayers were said becuase she had a difficult time as the epidural wore off and she was exhausted after 3 long hours of pushing, he made it in one piece and he's here, 8 lbs (exactly) 20 inches.  I love him so much already.  Welcome to the world Liam Austin Blaylock, you are already loved.  Here are a couple of pictures!!
Rookie All-star is more like it!

Either Jump on Board or Walk the Plank...

Lately I've been having friend drama. I know what's up with that? I'm a grown adult, I don't need drama! It's very irritating, and needless to say, pointless. I remember when I was in high school and couldn’t wait to graduate just to escape some of the drama. Oh how young and stupid I was. There’s still complaining, and back biting (not literally), and all sorts of shenanigans and I really just want to be done with it all. Is that bad? Is it bad just to say, peace out ya’ll I’m done? It’s just so hard sometimes because all I have are friends, no husband, no children, just friends, and if I don’t have any friends, I don’t have a life. What a twisted web! Anyway, I just needed to vent a little, I’m sure by the end of this week it will be better. If not, they are being wiped from my life. Either jump on board or walk the plank, I’m the captain around these parts! Argh!!

Christmas Catch-Up

What a glorious vacation I had. It was a much needed rest and relaxation that’s for sure. I had a great Christmas and ALMOST got everything I wanted. Maybe next year Santa will think I’m extra special. Kenzie and Austin came down for a week and she’s 9 months prego, and we had a false alarm and that was pretty scary. We also had a baby shower for her, and that made me even more excited. I just wish they lived in the same town as me so I could babysit all the time. They live and go to school in Provo, so it won’t be as often as I would like! New Years Eve I spent with my Parma friends. We played lots of games and had great food.

Here is our family Christmas morning, it's a sick picture, but I also love it!
