Cheerleading Greatness & Life

I totally wrote a blog yesterday, but since it was a BAD day it was NOT a good blog. Ranting and raving and such nonsense. Mostly I had just had to type it out to let go of my aggression. Today is shaping up to be better so therefore I think I can actually recap how my weekend was and other fun things.
Friday we decided to go the Madison vs. Rigby boys basketball game in Rigby. There were so many people there, but it was fun. I love watching sports, but I also love watching the cheerleaders. Oh and speaking of cheerleaders my mom and sister competed this weekend in their district cheer competition. They took first in everything except their sideline, and they took 2nd in that. So they are going to state. Here are their videos of their performances.
Maddie is so good. She tumbles, flies, and of course jumps. When we went home for the weekend they were putting it all together and mom was really worried, but they did AMAZING!
Anyway, after the basketball game we decided randomly to go to Idaho Falls and eat CafĂ© Rio and watch the movie Chronicle. A very interesting and different movie, I still don’t really know how I feel about it, it could have been saved for the cheap seats or even Redbox.
Saturday I went tanning, I haven’t been tanning in ages. I forgot how much I love it. HA! It is mid-terms so B has had a LOT of homework. So I finally have had time to read my book. It’s amazing, it’s called Divergent. Very Hunger Games like but I almost like it a little better. That night we just went out to eat and then we watched the slam-dunk contest. Both B and I were asked to give talks on Sunday because we are both the new activities co-chairs in our ward. My talk was on being involved, and I was pretty straight forward. I pretty much said there’s no excuse for not being involved and B’s was along that same line. It must have worked because at FHE last night we had SO many people. It was great!
Yesterday was a little more difficult for me. I found out that I’m going to have to move by the end of April. Which really puts a kink in everything, and really it is just so inconvenient. Plus on top of that I stopped to get gas and my car wouldn’t start. I just rolled my eyes and thought it totally is going to be one of those weeks huh? Which totally can be seen as comical or really annoying. For instance, this morning while in the icy parking lot of death at my work I barely could park my car, then I am almost hit by another car, they swerved to hit the fence instead. Scary. Thank you winter for coming the end of February!
I guess there’s just a lot going on right now, drama and just issues, but like B told me yesterday, we do everything we are supposed to and it will all work out, and he’s totally right. We are changing and either people change with us or we have to move on. We will have trials and bumps along the way but as long as we do our best well then we can handle them with ease!

Awkward and Awesome Thursday!

I love that it’s Thursday already. I love short weeks! I’ve had two in row, so that means that next week it’s going to be long and torturous. I had a lot of awesome moments this past week, but I love even more when B and I see something awkward he says “oh don’t forget that moment, you have to blog about it”, so cute! Anyway, enjoy some awkwardness and even more awesomeness…
Awkward:
  • While in Sephora checking out, Tajia politely but loudly asks me “What is on that ladies arm? That’s the biggest stamp I’ve ever seen”… ok so I tried to explain that it was a tattoo and then she exclaims… “Oh I know what tattoos are, they are bad we aren't supposed to have them”. I didn’t know what to do because she was technically right we aren't supposed to have them, so I just nodded at Tajia and then grabbed my stuff, haha!
  • I work in an office and sure it’s totally ok to take personal calls, however; I do NOT appreciate you taking a personal in the hallway outside my door and talking in the loudest voice possible. You have an office, or better yet a car… USE IT!
  • The split second when you see your iPhone dropping to the ground, the other split second when you hurry and pick it up and PRAY nothing happened to it. My poor little anxious heart.
  • Having a co-worker talk to you while going to the bathroom… the most awkward thing EVER… not even kidding.
  • There are some things you shouldn't Google, especially at work…I’m not even going to tell you what I found when I Googled “a picture of a nun’s head”. Awkward. Please don’t Google it.
  • I know I’ve said it before, but it’s so awkward on Facebook when people quote themselves. Even more awkward when obviously they didn't say it ie – Savanna Blaylock “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself” Savanna Blaylock. See totally weird.

Awesome:
  • How excited I am for the next couple of months. It’s going to be a fun, hard, exhilarating, stressful, amazing and crazy. Bring it on (ask me in a couple months if I still feel that way)!
  • That I got to meet Tajia and Parker. Some of the most beautiful and fun loving children around. I miss them already.
  • The look of pure love and adoration when B opened all of his birthday presents. Ok so first he was overwhelmed a little I think, and then he just looked so happy. That was all worth it.
  • Spring is coming!
  • You have those people who contradict EVERYTHING you say, and then you have those people who agree and love everything you say? Yeah that’s Jenn (the agreeing part), and I love that she thinks like me.
  • How funny my family is. Seriously game nights with them are the best. Pretty sure at one point we were all crying because we were laughing so hard.
  • Sharing a tender and healing moment with B, it’s funny how emotions can just pop out of nowhere.
  • Dance Central 2 on the Kinect… amazing!
  • Willing to buy something full price only have it be like 90% at the register. Best. Thing. Ever.
  • Saved by the Bell!
  • My iPad is finally fixed. I missed it so much!
  • Having to pinch myself because honestly I can’t believe sometimes this is my awesome life (ok sorry that was uber cheesy)!
  • Brycen Taylor, he gave me the best Valentine’s Day and weekend ever.

B's Birthday Weekend!

It has been a crazy week to say the least. Since my last post life has been a blur. A good blur though, I’ll totally accept that! Wednesday after work B and I headed back down to Parma for our crazy weekend adventure. Since it was B’s birthday weekend we also arranged to get the kids. Best idea ever. Since we left Wednesday night B had a ton of homework to get done for the weekend began. So I just chilled at the house with my mom and sisters and did a whole lot of nothing. I loved every second of it. I made dinner Thursday night and then my brothers came over so we could see everyone. We played some games and just hung out.
Friday was the big day. I was so nervous but so excited to meet the kids. I had been skyping them so they knew who I was, but seeing them in person is a whole other ballgame. They are the sweetest most lovable kids ever. They were just so excited to see us and play. We headed over to the mall to finish up some birthday shopping and then we took the kids to Build-a-Bear. That place is fantastic. Parker picked out a tiger and named him Stripes. Tajia picked out a purple bear and we named her Hailey. They thought it was so cool how they got to fluff their bear and then comb it. We just had a great time. Since it was also state basketball B’s family was in town because Rigby was playing in the tournament. It was great that we got to see them too! My mom her famous chicken and noodles so we headed back and everyone in my family got to meet the kids. They loved Liam (they called him Leo), it was so funny. We headed back to Boise so we could watch some basketball, and the kids loved that!

Brycen and Tajia. I am totally in love with this picture. It's so precious!
Fluffing up their bears
Saturday was a crazy day too. We let them go up to the school to watch the cheerleaders practice. They sure loved that. They were fascinated with how Maddie got lifted up in the air. We played around for a while and then went home and then went over and played at Austin and Kenzie’s house. They sure loved playing with Liam. We then had to get ready to go the state game to watch Rigby play. It was fun! Too bad they lost though, but Parker was happy just to get unlimited supplies of chocolate milk. That night we decided to celebrate B’s birthday. So he got to open his presents! Which included a Kinect, Kinect game, and clothes! Then he got to blow out the candles and we had some of my mom’s famous Chocolate Mallow cake (that you only get on your birthday). Thanks mom for making his cake!! We had a great time just celebrating B and his day of birth. I hope he enjoyed everything he got!
Cute "Leo" I mean Liam...
The many faces of Parker Taylor. He totally is B's son... haha!

Watching Kelsi play in the state game!
B blowing out his candle. I am pretty sure he said something to my mom to make her freak out like that!
Sunday we had to say goodbye to the kids. It was sad. I felt like I was just starting to get to know them. We had to really hurry in the morning because we had to get ready for church and also get the kids ready, needless to say it was a hectic morning. We had fun though, and it was sad saying goodbye. Hopefully next time they can stay longer so we can spend more time with them. They are great kids with awesome personalities.
 Parker getting ready to go!
Both Parker and Tajia loved our dogs, here is Parker giving Roxy a good brush.
Such cute kids, and they love the camera!
 Crazy faces!
 With Dad... silly kids!
HAHA, I just love how crazy they all are, and I love them!
Here we all are!
Parker and I caught B sleeping, so of course we have to wake him up!
The rest of the day was a typical Sunday, except the B took a two hour nap. We wore him out, that’s for sure! We played games and laughed and I ate WAY too much. We played B’s new Dance Central 2 game, and it was so much fun.
We left on Monday and it’s always hard to leave. We went to lunch at the famous Apple Lucy’s and got Scotch and Sodas too. The drive home was pretty snowy but we survived. We had a great weekend. One that I will always remember, my next vacation isn’t until May. What the heck? I better get on that stat.

My Day of Love!

You know in the past I always wondered what the big hoopla was about Valentine’s Day. I mean I’ve never been one to hate on it, because well I love love. It’s always just been a day where I didn’t really pay that much attention to. Until I met B.
Then all of the sudden I was so excited to have a day to devote to him and how much I really love and appreciate him. He’s such a great person and tries really hard to always make me happy.
This morning I wasn't feeling very good so I woke up a little earlier than usual, then I thought I smelled bacon and thought that was unusual until I found this outside my door:

I reacted just how B thought I would “What the heck is this?” Not in a mean way of course but the “what are you up to you Sneaky B” sort of way.  I knew he was planning something but not breakfast. He got up at 5:00 in the morning just to get everything ready. He made me breakfast because we are in charge of a stake activity this evening and won’t be able to spend time together doing something romantical. I was worried it was going to be lame because of our previous plans, and that we would just do something another day. I was just so impressed with his preparation and hard work to make something so memorable. I definitely will remember this 1st Valentine’s Day with him forever. He even wrote me a card that made me cry (both times I read it), and that was his goal I’m sure. I just love him for making sure I was happy on this day. I think I will keep him around!
As you can see he is a little tired. HA!
My ring pops in the shape of a heart!

I felt so lame because this morning my gift to him wasn’t quite complete. So I gave him Affliction Cologne and an American Eagle shirt, it seemed pretty dumb compared to his candlelit breakfast he prepared for me. Don’t worry this evening I’ll give him his present and hopefully he’ll love it as much as I do. Those pictures will come tomorrow of course!
Happy Valentine’s Day to all the lovers out there… and really even if you don’t have a lover (it took me 27 years to find mine) you can still be happy that we celebrate the best feeling of all… love!

PS -  Just as I was finishing this blog I got another surprise...
I sure do love that kid. He takes my breath away.

A Lot of Laughing...

I had a great weekend. It was pretty low key but I spent it with B and really that makes me happy. Friday night B had a BIG Business Law test so he studied all night and then took another 2 hours to take it. It was hardcore! He did great though! We just went to his house and just talked and watched Vampire Diaries (so good btw)… I also taught B how to play Pass the Pigs. I remember we used to play this game all the time and he had NEVER heard of it, say what? At first he thought the concept was pretty funny but by the end he was hooked. Here is what he rolled:
Poor little piggies!

Saturday we were both just so tired from a really exhausting week so we grabbed some McDonald’s breakfast and people watched. It is one of our most favorite things to do. It’s almost as good as people watching at Denny’s at 3:00 in the a.m. No joke we were watching these group of girls (ok so they were adults) and she licked her receipt. We laughed so hard. We then went for a drive. I love going up by the temple and just looking at all the ginormous houses up there. We even went car shopping (ok looking), on our way back we even got pulled over. I was driving B’s car so it was pretty funny. Come to find out he has expired tags. HA! Then I just wanted to veg out, so we played Mario Party. It was so much fun. B got way into it and conquered the whole game. It was pretty intense. That night we went to BYUI’s Comic Frenzy, a group on campus. We had a lot of fun and laughed a lot. Afterwards we went to get ice cream and then the Blue Box, our new favorite thing.
We rented Due Date. Oh my so hilarious. We laughed a lot and I was so impressed with the editing, not one single bad word or scene. It was so good! B’s little sister was in town because his older sister just had a baby.  It was good to spend time with her too!
Sunday we got to see and hold that precious new baby names Tayvree. I cannot believe I didn’t take one single picture. She has SO much hair, black thick hair, she’s so cute. She definitely looks like a Taylor. We also watched the Grammy’s. I love Adele so I’m glad she swept it! She’s superb. B and I were captivated by Jennifer Hudson’s tribute to Whitney. I even teared up a little. I love Whitney and JHud so it was perfect. We won’t even talk about Nicki Minaj’s stupid performance (and I like Nicki).  RIP Whitney. I also introduced B to the TLC show My Strange Addiction. We were officially weirded out. It’s so weird you can’t stop watching it. This episode a man had a sexual relationship with his car ( I know so gross) and another lady sniffed baby powder. We were laughing pretty hard, because people are weird.
I had a great weekend; I’m super excited for this short week. We are heading down to Parma to pick up B’s kids and celebrate his birthday. We have a lot of fun things (and some good surprises) planned so I’m excited. I’ve waited a long time to meet his kids so I’m glad it’s finally here. My family is super excited to meet them too. Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and for once I’m really excited for it. I’ve never been one who HATES this holiday because well I’m not like that, how can you hate a holiday that celebrates love! I love love!
And for your Monday funny. B found this in the store on Saturday. I don’t know why we didn’t buy it, it’s hilarious. A stress weanie! I instantly thought of Jenn. HA!

Awkward and Awesome Thursday!

It has been a couple of days since I’ve posted. I’ve been pretty busy lately and I’m OK with that. Even though I was complaining to B that I just want one day where I sit on the couch in my PJ’s and do nothing. He said he was sure we could make that happen but then I would just feel lazy and worthless. Wow, I swear I’m not that bad! Anyway, today is Thursday... Friday Eve if we must say so, and of course I had some moments this week that would definitely qualify in my awesome and awkwardness!
Awkward:
  • B and I were at Broulims (I swear we go there once a day, it gets quite annoying) picking up something. We were at the checkout line when we both see this girl leaving the store totally chomping down on her French bread. No joke, she just peeled back the paper and was eating it like a sandwich before even leaving the store. It was the funniest but most awkward thing because she acted like she was STARVING. Going to town on that French bread. You can’t wait 5 more seconds to at least get in your car?
  • Same trip at Broulims a girl wearing a long white summery skirt with sneakers, oh and a hoodie. OK so maybe it wasn’t awkward but more like her outfit was awful. Why would you EVER think that was appropriate to wear anywhere?
  • Testimony meeting in a singles ward is always the best place for awkward moments. This Sunday was no exception. One person starting saying “I don’t know why I’m so emotional, it must be that time of the month” I look around to see if B caught what HE had said. I know that he meant it was testimony meeting but I don’t think anyone should it that way. No worries about 4 other people after HIM said the same thing, it’s mostly awkward when the girls said it though.
  • Having a hole in my tights. Dang it! So do I walk around with that hole or take them off and have slightly hairy legs? Either way it’s embarrassing…
  • Cold Showers. Ugh they totally ruin your ENTIRE day. And it’s awkward when you are trying to shower so fast but really you just freeze!
  • Accidently booking the wrong airline ticket, then calling to cancel that airline ticket 5 seconds later… Delta must think I’m really smart!
  • I had the most awkward dream last night, let’s just say it involved a Zac Efron look alike, B, and a really UGLY black lady. If B would have been by me when I woke up I probably would have punched him. HAHA!
  • On the cover of US Weekly it has Demi Moore, and it says she’s hitting on Zac Efron. Jenn said it best when I told her of the news “Shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO. She’s a strung out little Hussy!!!” So true.
  • People who post 1000 pins at one time on Pinterest. I mean yes I love Pinterest it’s great, but I don’t pin EVERYTHING I see. Stop clogging up my news feed, jesh! The same thing goes for Facebook. I swear lately it’s turned into Pinterest. People use your social media sites correctly please.
  • Falling asleep at like 10:00 the past couple of nights, then I get super angry with myself when B leaves because well I’m was SUPER boring.

Awesome:
  • The way B acts when I start crying. He doesn’t know what to do, so mostly he just hugs me which is perfect. His face is the best though, because he’s trying to dissect the situation and the seriousness of it. It’s funny but adorable.
  • Modern Family, ugh that show is so funny. I laugh out loud every week. May I also say that I love that American Idol is back on, I really have missed it.
  • Tuesday evening was the highlight of my week. It was just a great night and really I didn’t do anything special. Sometimes I really just love that.
  • Finding the emoticons on my iPhone keyboard. It has changed my life. Hello year 2000 and MSN Messenger flashback!
  • Prayers and fasting.
  • The support and comfort B gives me when he knows I’m going through something tough.
  • Vampire Diaries. I try to keep up with B but he zooms through them. Either way that show is scary but awesome.
  • My family… they are all super awesome and super supportive. I’m so blessed!
  • My addiction to ice cream. I don’t know but as of lately I can’t get enough of it. (don’t worry I have limits, haha)!
  • Having a clean slate, and getting the approval that you are on the right track. Knowing that the suffering, hard work, and chastising was only to make you better.
  • I am excited for the following: Valentine’s Day, not because B and I have to put on the Stake Dance that night and are obligated to spend the “most romantic day of the year” at a church with some other cool singles, but because I love to dance, (it helps to be positive). Next weekend we are heading back to Parma to see my family, and to see B’s kids. I’m so excited I can barely contain myself. The best part? It’s also B’s birthday! I love birthdays, especially his!

Halfway to Friday. Thank goodness!

Weekend Recap and Changes!

This weekend was great. It was busy but great! So here’s an awesome recap…
Friday:
We went to eat dinner at B’s cousin Chris and his wife Kylie. It was a lot of fun, and really good. B’s other cousin Garen and his wife and little girl were there and she is just the cutest little thing. We then went to the slam dunk contest. There wasn’t a ton of people there but still enough to make it fun! The funniest thing was we walked from Chris’s apartment to the Hart building. I know there isn’t a LOT of snow here, but there is still some ice. Well I seriously about fell 5 times. OK so I had my cowboy boots on, but still traumatic. Anyway, the contest was OK nothing too spectacular.  I however did take some video footage:
The most amazing thing to watch was the jump ropers as entertainment. It was so cool! I wish I could do cool tricks like that! After the contest we went back to the house for a movie. This is when we discovered something so great, Rexburg has a clean flicks! Say what?! I was so excited! There are a ton of movies I have been wanting to see but really don’t want to see the filth that’s usually in them! So we watched Taking of Pelham 123. Eh, glad I didn’t spend any money watching that one! We than sat around and talked forever. Friday nights are hard for me to stay up late because I’ve been working all day! But I survived.
Saturday:
Holy cow busy day. B and I had to clean the church, our service for the day. Then B had to finish up homework while I ate my breakfast burrito and played Mario Party. I love that game, and all B could do was laugh at me because I get WAY to into the Wii games (I’m convinced it’s rigged). We then went to Chris’s basketball game, and then to Idaho Falls. I had to get food for our Super Bowl Party. OK so I heard this interesting tidbit of information this morning, but this lady I work with her friends is the manager at the Shelley Broulims. She said that next to Thanksgiving, the Saturday before the Super Bowl is the busiest food day of the year. Isn’t that NUTS?! I believe it too, because we went to Winco for a couple pizzas and snacks and I could NOT believe the people that were there. Every isle open and 5 carts in each line waiting to check out, CRAZY! We then went to Rigby to watch B’s cousin play in a district basketball game against Madison. Intense. B almost got kicked out too, and he wasn’t even saying anything that bad. We suspected because he’s black. HAHA! We rented another clean flicks movie called Drive. Dumbest. Movie. Ever. We both fell asleep. Ha!

Sunday:
So I guess the biggest news of the weekend is that I got released from being Relief Society President. I have been emotional all week, I have known it has been time for a little bit and change is good but I will miss the great women in my ward. Bless B's heart he's been great at making sure I just need a good hug when I start to get emotional and sad. I’ve done that calling for 2 years and its weird thinking that I’m not in charge anymore, but it’s always good time for a change and good for the ward too! It was just so odd yesterday when there was a problem and I didn’t have to solve it, that will only take time I guess! My new calling is really awesome though. They asked B and me to be Activities Co-Directors. I’m excited because B and I get to work together, but also it’s a really fun calling and we both have a lot of great ideas. Anyway, it was just an emotional day for me between testimony meeting, fast Sunday, and talking with B I was emotionally done. Good thing it was football time. Just a small group of us got together and has pizza and cinnamon rolls and just watched the game. It was great to just relax, and I totally could have used another day! Oh well, next weekend I get a 5 day weekend, and that is just beautiful!

Slam Dunking Memories!

It’s Friday! Hooray! We actually have a couple things planned, which is always great! Something to look forward to for sure. We got tickets to the BYU-Idaho Slam Dunk contest. I haven’t been since I was in college. The best was when my BFFs’/roommates’ brother competed. He is freaking amazing. Just so happens he’s even on YouTube, what the?! Just watching that gets me pumped up.

Anyway, I’m excited to go to that, it’s always fun and I know B will thoroughly enjoy himself. Tomorrow we are going to watch B’s cousin Kelsi play basketball against Madison. Ohh rivals, should be a great game. I know that Sunday is going to be eventful for me. A lot of changes are happening. It’s also the Super Bowl. CRAZY! How did I not realize that it’s this Sunday? For as much Sportscenter as I watch these days you think I would have gotten the message. Well bless! I’m excited mostly for the commercials.
Here is the picture that it asked for today. A picture of hands. I don’t know if it meant my hands but this is a picture of my hand in the summer. This is my MOST favorite nail polish. It’s so bright and makes me look even tanner. I just wish I could find another bottle of it, it’s almost out!

Have a great weekend, I’m loving the weather outside today. I mean it’s 40 degrees IN FEBRUARY! I sure do love that.

Awkward and Awesome Thursday!

Its here, oh Thursday! Friday Eve… also awkward and awesome… This week has been well interesting. Here we go!
Awkward:
  • The stage of emotions between sad and “trying not to cry” sad. You try to fight back those tears and honestly you can’t comprehend what’s going on in that moment or what you are saying you are just focusing on trying to keep those tears inside. Never really works though.
  • When you try to make a transition in a conversation and it really makes no sense at all. Insert awkward chuckle…
  • Trying to explain how you feel but you can’t make it make sense. Therefore nothing was accomplished… then I just sit and think about how I could have said things differently.
  • The “f word” is not an intelligible way to communicate, there are hundreds and thousands of adjectives out in the world, USE THEM!
  • Snoring. For some reason I get super embarrassed when people (especially B) catch me doing it.
  • When I want to be mad and then B makes me laugh and I can’t help but let it go. Ugh it’s awkward because it’s unfair! HA!
  • Facebook drama. OK drama in general tends to lead to awkward situations, or unpleasant ones. I’m one to want to work it out, IF the other side is too. If they aren’t there is NO reason why we need to communicate until things settle down. Harsh I know, but usually you just end up saying things you regret.

Awesome:
  • Loyalty. There are just some people you know will always be on your side, no matter what you did, and will help you get through whatever you might have done or NOT done. Either way those are the people I want to ALWAYS be in my life.
  • My email conversation with Hyrum and Jenn yesterday. Between comparisons of the Village and saying Chidiot, Period Face, Sneeds, and Permadrunk those two had me laughing so hard.  Nothing like a BFF and brother to help you see the bigger picture.
  • How much a hug can bring a ton of comfort.
  • B, who supports me and makes me want to be better, he’s got the biggest heart and the changes and obstacles he’s overcome are pretty incredible. It seems like a lot gets thrown in his path but he still seems to still try to make me laugh all the time. He’s a great example!
  • The joy of 5:00 pm on weekdays (especially Friday), seriously that’s the most awesome thing!
  • An awesome Mariah quote last night that’s so awesomely funny:
Me: So Grandma’s surgery went ok then?
Ry: Yeah everything went great! Tomorrow and Friday though she’s going to be knocked up.
Me: OMG what??
Ry: I meant knocked out, she’s going to be knocked out for the next couple of days. Oh jesh!
Me: HAHAHAHAHA! Oh I love you!
  • My family. They are amazing, they all support us and that’s awesome!
  • Grandma’s surgery was a complete success!
  • The joy of the Atonement and the comfort that comes after repenting. To see someone at the lowest of lows and come back to reach the highest of highs is something that makes me so happy (great I’m in that awkward in between crying stage, I better stop) and builds my faith and hope.
  • My calling as Relief Society President. It has changed me 100% I’ve really enjoyed serving those girls for 2 years.

Finally here’s my picture for the 2nd Day of February. It asked for a picture of words, so I just took a picture of one of my favorite texts I received yesterday (don't mind my spelling errors, auto spell is special sometimes)…

February Goodness

I saw that Jenn has pinned this on Pinterest and I think it's great!
Source: Uploaded by user via Jennifer on Pinterest

Some of the things listed are a little weird, but hey it's a new challenge and plus I think it's sort of neat. Plus I love pictures! So here's my picture for February 1, 2012:
My View Today

I know it's winter and there is NO snow but this is the backside of my office. It's spectacular in the spring when the river is super high. Last year that pavement was under water! Either way I love the river, usually this time of year its just one big piece of ice. So very unusual. I hope that means that our summer starts earlier and is extra hot. I miss cursing the heat!

I just realized that this year is a leap year! That's exciting! We better have a party to celebrate our extra day of the year.

Last night I had a little bit of a meltdown. It was odd. Considering it just came out of nowhere. Maybe it was becuase I had an extra exhausting day or I'm going through some personal changes. Either way I had a breakdown. It didn't help that I took some of it out on B, good thing he just let me sit there and get it all out. Then of course he laid on the Lovesac with me and watched a movie. He's had a pretty rough couple of days so between the two of us we are a hot mess. That's OK, like can't always be rainbows and butterflies! I swear it felt like a Friday, and it's only Wednesday. Oh well I'll take it!
