I Love You, I Hate You...
My clothes - OK seriously, anyone who sees my closest just laughs at me. I have an obsession, or more like I have issues. For instance if I wear an outfit I have to wait 2 weeks to wear it again. I don't know where this problem came from, and I don't think anyone even notices, but I do. And if I wear an outfit to church, it won't likely appear for another 2 to 3 months. I also base a lot of judgement on what people wear, so I think others do the same to me. So therefore, it's a priority to me. Do you see why I have a love hate relationship with my clothes? With an issue like this I can never have too many. Seriously every morning I stare at my FULL closest and my FULL dresser and think, man I have NOTHING to wear.
My hair - I'm pretty sure every girl has this sort of relationship with their hair. I feel like mine is so predictable. But then I realize my clothing issues play a part in my hair. I feel like if I have the same hairdo twice in a row then I might become boring. Good thing I'm not super creative when it comes to my hair or I might not have any left. Hair I love you for your thickness, you're color, and your versatility of being straight or scrunchy. Hair I hate you for your inability to stay curled, stay braided, and those stupid whispies that won't do a dang thing... don't get me started on the braiding, it will not be good.
My cell phone - Oh Blackberry! Seriously I'm a cell phone junkie, OK so a text junkie (4000 in April people, keepin' it real). And really ever since I've gotten a smart phone it's changed my life. Only to find out that my smart phone is the SLOWEST piece of you know what out there. I love though that my phone isn't an all touch phone, buttons are my friends, the calendar is my lifeline, and I love how I customized the LED lights to know who's texting me. I HATE how it won't keep a charge, won't let me text more than 160 characters in a message, now that it's getting older it won't send or receive as quickly, the camera is seriously so ancient and retarded, and it's hard to hear people sometimes. Seriously though, I am a having a moral dilemma, the Blackberry must be put to rest soon and so do I go with a Droid or an iPhone... EEKS!
I keep thinking of the many things that I have this relationship with in my life, but alas I've got to be thinking positive people! This weekend is extra long for me and I'm super excited. I'm taking a road trip to SEATTLE! Granted it will take 1 whole day to drive there and 1 whole day to drive back, but hey PARTY. I don't know how much I'll get to see but hopefully I'll get some time to go shopping (of course).
Lastly, I'm so grateful for the amazing people in my life who help me through my trials and just listen to me when I have moments of FREAK OUT then I'm clearly going to be OK. Those people are the people that you've got to keep around. So as Oprah said in her final words (didn't you just bawl at her last episode I totally did. AND seriously her last show is just one big quote, I want the entire monologue). To God be the Glory. Amen Oprah Amen.

Weekend Update
It seems like I am doing this backwards, but on Friday we watched the Justin Beiber movie and had snow cones of course. I. Love. Him. Seriously though, love his songs and that kid works HARD. My favorite songs from him? U Smile I Smile and Somebody to Love. Actually though, his entire album is great, which says something right? I've got the fever!! I dare you to watch it and not feel the same way I do.

End of the World? Here's my Bucket List!
- Kiss a random stranger, and I mean kiss, like Hollywood kiss!
- Celebrate New Year's Eve at Times Square
- See the following artists in concert: David Cook (again), Beyonce, Justin Bieber, and NSYNC (here's hoping they will do a reunion tour!)
- Walk into a store and buy something without looking at the price tag
- Go on a cruise
- Dine and ditch... (I know not honest but rebellious)
- Kiss at the top of the Eiffel Tower
- Run a 5k
- Attend a movie premier
- Go to the Super Bowl or OK just a NFL game
- Ride the Subway
- Visit Rome and Vatican City
- See every major historical site in America
- Zip-line in Mexico
- Own a Toyota 4-Runner
OK I know there are more on my list, so when I think of them I'll totally add them. As I was thinking about my list most of it is traveling to places I've seen in movies or read about. Oh well, traveling is a good goal right? Here's to saving my money and loving every minute of the last day of the end of the world :)!

WICKED-ly Awesome Weekend and Birthday!
I also got a sweet shirt!
Emma also came down to see it, OK and to see Hyrum too. Next time she's in Parma it will be the wedding! EEK! So much to do!
I hadn't been home since Christmas, and I made the comment to Mariah as we pulled into town that no matter how long it's been since I have been home, I love it because it never seems to change much. Oh except now we have a Subway… WATCH OUT! Seriously though, I love Parma, it's a good place (and always full of drama)!
Anthony's birthday was also on Sunday, so of course Riana and I had to plan a party. Hello! A surprise party at that. The funniest thing happened though when Anthony was telling me a story, and we are outside Riana's apartment, and he's like wait before we go in I want to finish my story. So he's talking and talking and talking, and all I could think was Anthony just turn around and go inside! HAHA! So funny. Love him. He's such a good person and a good time. He also reminds me of Parma so much, he could easily have grown up there on the farm! He's keeping me sane this summer, and for that I will totally owe him… or wait maybe owes me? J Either way we had a good time.

Happy Birthday Ry!
She was pretty surprised, I mean she had an idea that her roommates might do something, but she had NO idea I was involved. So funny. Her face was amazing!
I even made her my grandma's chocolate mallow cake, which is a BEAST to make because you have to have some cooking skills. My mom makes it for everyone's birthdays and Mariah was sad she wasn't going to get one this year, never fear sister, I cannot replace my mother but I can cook. So there you go, cake for you!
Happy Birthday Mariah! I love you so much! You are so beautiful, funny, and genuine. 19 is so much cooler than 18 I promise!
Other highlights included a Seis de Mayo party on Friday: Thanks Anthony and Mariah for bringing your love child pinata! We watched Spanglish which I've never seen, and really don't plan on EVER seeing again. I didn't really like it at all. WEIRD.
PS – Wicked is on Saturday people. SATURDAY! Don't worry my music life has been consumed with the Wicked soundtrack on repeat.

Myspace vs. Facebook
This weekend is not only Mother's Day, but also my little sister Mariah's birthday! How delightful! I'm attempting to be my mother (notice I said attempting) but making her famous chocolate mallow cake, and making Mariah feel as awesome as she can be for celebrating her first birthday away from home. I'll take some pictures to document my experiences; they should be interesting to say the least. J
Anyway today I had the random urge to check my Myspace account. HAHAHA! Who still has one of those? Anyone you know? OK anyway, so I was just browsing and I got instantly annoyed. So here are the reasons why I left my Myspace and love my Facebook.
- Myspace has WAY too much going on, and it's so not user friendly. It took me 5 seconds to find my profile. It should only take me 1 second. HELLO I don't have time to waste (oh wait….)
- Bulletin Board … ok so guilty that I might have posted something on there when I was heavily involved in Myspace, but seriously if I had to see one more "survey" or "get to know me" posted by some 11 year old who thinks their life is so messed up I was going to punch something. HA.
- Top Friends = DRAMA… like we need anymore of that in our life.
- No status updates. Ok so the new Myspace has this feature, but it did not have this feature when I liked it. So therefore Facebook founded it and that's why I love it.
- Facebook equals no HTML… THANK YOU!! Plan and simple please. I hated going to people's Space and I was instantly blinded by color or instantly dizzy with all the hoopla going on.
- Granted Facebook has spam, that's all I got while on Myspace. Please 16 year old hooker I don't want your services. JESH!
- Annoying Ad's and Pop-Ups… get a new way to pay for your billion dollar site Myspace c'mon…
I mean those are all the ones I can think of for the moment. Have you made the transition (I mean seriously what are you still in 2004 or something?). What don't you miss about Myspace? OH I love this blog post about social networking. Don't EVEN get me started on Twitter… ugh… And why can't I delete my Myspace? Why does it give me anxiety to do so?

Loco, Coach, and Bowling...
The Royal Wedding - so fantastical. I'm a pop culture junkie anyway (seriously it's bad), but this was the epitome of my week. The fashion, the glitz, the modern princess story... and don't even get me started on the hats people wore. LOVED IT! Granted I am a glad it's over so we can talk about other things in the world... But her wedding dress (well in fact both of them) were probably the most perfect things EVER. My future wedding dress is going to look like one of those, mark my words!
Kiwi Loco - our new place. It's frozen yogurt and it's amazing. They have the Girlscout Cookie Samoa flavor. SAY WHAT? And it's a really chill place. We went for $1 night and Megan and I scored this sweet shirts (mostly because there were cloggers there and we hollering loud for them, because seriously we know exactly how they felt).
My New Coach Bag - anyone who knows me knows how much I love purses. I've been wanting a Coach since well the dawn of time. I just never found one that I loved so much to spend that much money on. But my dream has been fulfilled. I bought one, and it's beautiful and more importantly after taxes it cost right around $100. So pretty much $200 off... um yes I know I snatched that right up. See I have patience... and it was so worth it. I love it so much!
Fast Five - Um yeah I loved this movie. I love Paul Walker, I love the Rock (minus the facial hair please), and I love love love Vin Diesel (I mean c'mon that voice). It was actually a great story, and the surprise (after the credits) was GREAT. I went with some of the crew and we had a great time. Seriously going to a movie with Anthony is entertainment in itself, that kid fully engages himself into the film. So when someone gets punched it's like he's getting punched. Oh funny but I love it!
Sunday Game Night - we've been doing this for a couple months now, but seriously we get crazy. New people come and join but the same people are usually there. We play random games, or just sit around and talk. I'm excited for when it actually gets warm we can go outside and enjoy the warm weather. Riana made some AMAZING Texas Sheet Cake, wow, it was so good, that needs to become a tradition too!! Oh Sunday's!
Me, Mariah, and Anthony at game night! |
That's right I Turkey'd at the last frame. Booyah! |
Riana and I we are bowling machines! |
Ok seriously 147. But Brother Zollinger had to go and be all competitive and rock it the last frame. |
Pedi! I love when I can actually show it off! |
